Japanese Whisky Event in Launceston

Saint John Craft Beer Bar and Destination Cellars invite you to a very special whisky event. Join us while relaxing in the Whisky Den of the St John Bar on a Sunday afternoon sampling some very rare, extinct and unique drams from the Land of the Rising Sun. An event for the whisky lover not to be missed.

The line up:
Hibiki 17YO - extremely rare these days, one of the world's great blended malts

Yamzaki 12YO - one of the most awarded and in-demand whiskies on the planet

Ichiro's Malt & Grain - much sought after and difficult to track down, "The Worldwide Whisky" from guru Ichiro Akuto of the Chichibu Distillery

Nikka Gold Samurai - Nikka produce some of the greatest bottle designs on the planet, but what is the juice like...

Shinshu Mars Iwai - the distillery dedicated to Kiichiro Iwai, Mars is relatively new to the scene but is building a big presence.

Sunday November 19th 2pm for a 2.30pm start. Tickets are $50 per person and must be booked in advance.

Finger food, great banter and special pricing on bottles for attendees.
