Jan, from Wafu Works in Kingston, will be at Salamanca Market to help you lovingly wrap your purchased Christmas gift using the traditional Japanese method of furoshiki. Furoshiki uses cloth material and is cleverly designed so sticky tape, glue or staples are not required, and the gift receiver can reuse the cloth which makes this a very environmentally friendly choice. The market will also offer the traditional paper wrapping service using recycled gift paper for all gifts purchased at the market.
Both gift wrapping services will be located near the information booth. This is a free event with all materials supplied.
