タスマニア豪日協会
Please join us for the first in a series of informal online conversations with Tasmanians living and working in Japan.
The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme promotes grass-roots international exchange between Japan and other nations. Through JET, a number of Tasmanians travel to Japan each year to teach English. Many stay for several years.
This event will connect us with two JETs currently teaching English in the Tōhoku region of Japan. Rachel Stivicic lives in Akita Prefecture, while Lara Wojcik lives in Aomori Prefecture. Join us to learn more about their experiences of life as a teacher in rural Japan.
This will be an interactive event, with short presentations followed by plenty of time for questions and conversation.
We will use Zoom (a free videoconferencing app) to meet. You can use your phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer to join us. A link to the meeting room will be emailed to registrants one hour before the event.
