Wrapping gifts with cloth instead of paper is a growing trend to eliminate one-use products. The Japanese have been doing this for centuries - called furoshiki.
In this one hour workshop (including a hot drink and delicious sweet thing of your choice) Kirsty Máté from reth!nk will show you how to create beautifully wrapped gifts using furoshiki in a relaxed atmosphere at the wonderful Mad Apple cafe in Launceston.
Bespoke Reth!nk Heirloom Rewraps, hand screen printed, sewn, and specially designed for furoshiki wrapping, will also be available for sale.
