A Tale of Two Islands Tasmania Vs Japan Whisky Event 10/6/'22 at RACV

Destination Cellars is excited to announce that they will be teaming up with Spring Bay Distillery and Beam Suntory for their Tale of Two Islands themed whisky event on Friday June 10th at 7pm in the elegant surrounds of the RACV Hobart Hotel. They will delve into some wonderful drams from Japan and Tasmania, promising a night of sublime whisky not to be missed.

To present the evening they will have on hand Dean Jackson from Spring Bay and Tom Scott representing the Japanese brands. Dean has chosen three new releases from Spring Bay; both the Sherry and Port are rich, round and super delicious, & the Bourbon cask is full of rich honey and crème brûlée notes followed by fruit tingles. Tom has selected three iconic Japanese drams that represent their famous trademark characteristics of elegance, balance and complexity. The Yamazaki 12 Year Old; Hibiki Harmony, & Hakushu Distillers Reserve.
