To remember the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the Japan Club of Sydney's Rainbow Project will be holding a commemoration.
The event runs from 4.15 to 8.15pm AEDT and will be streamed online via YouTube. The video can be watched either live or later.
At 4.46pm AEDT, the precise time of the earthquake, the event will cross to the official commemoration in Tōhoku, Japan, for one minute's silence.
