Japanese Calligraphy Workshop Yamaguchi Hookuu (Nagoya)

Join Japanese calligrapher and artist Jun Yamaguchi for a special workshop and demonstration.

Jun Yamaguchi started learning calligraphy when she was 1 year old. She comes from an award winning calligraphy dynasty and is a licensed calligrapher and calligraphy teacher.

Jun first came to Tasmania in 2003. She is excited to share her art with Tasmanians interested in Japanese culture and in fans of calligraphy and brush and ink artwork.

This event will take place in two offerings -

1)FREE 30 minute demonstration aimed at UTAS students and students of Japanese (12.10pm)

2) Full workshop and demonstration - course fee covers all materials. entry fee covers all materials including brush, paper, and ink. T-shirts and other items will be available for purchase for Jun to create individual artworks for an additional fee (6.00pm)
