2026 Annual General Meeting

2026 Australia-Japan Society of Tasmania AGM

Please join us for the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Australia-Japan Society of Tasmania. The AGM is the Society's annual opportunity to discuss the year that was, the year ahead and to elect new office bearers. It's also a chance for attendees to bring forward ideas and suggestions to help shape the future of the Society. This meeting is open to all, although only members can vote and stand for election.

Elections will be held for the following positions:

• President
• Vice-President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Non-Executive Directors (up to six)

DATE: Saturday 19 September, 2026
TIME: 12-2pm
VENUE: Mathers House (upper level), 108-110 Bathurst Street, Hobart
FORMAT: In-person and Online*

*PLEASE NOTE: You can join the AGM online via Teams/Zoom (link to be provided later), but please bear in mind that due to limited tech infrastructure it may be a little difficult to participate in the discussion.
